57. Dinner

What am I about to share with you is not a joke. Its real and I have proof. So its, Ramadan, again....and I was skimming through the local restaurant delivery book deciding on what to break my fast with last night and I came across a restaurant called Kabul China. So naturally, it caught my interest since you don't really get much Chinese food in Kabul. As I went down the list of menu items I came across: "Bull's Penis with Garlic" Naturally, I thought it was the lack of oxygen getting to my brain and my low blood sugar impairing my judgement so I looked again, but it was still there...staring me directly in the face. What's worse is that a few items down, I also had a the option of ordering "Ox's Testicles with Garlic." ONLY IN KABUL!

    Only one questions goes through my mind as I read this, "Will the fast still count or does it go against the laws of Islam to break your fast with penis or testicles?" ~MA

    Salaam Nelo jan! Thanks for giving me a good laugh. I just cannot believe it! Anyways, I'm sorry that you are having tough days with Roza, but be strong because I know you can do it.
