After a very long, dry and dusty winter...Kabul has finally been blessed with its first rain of the season. Instantaneously, the air has cleared and we can breath some fresh air. As an added bonus, its just started snowing. As a californian who never sees real live snow, this is a treat. Its gorgeous and surreal. I can't wait tomorrow to see this brown, dusty, muddy city covered in a blanket of clean, bright, white snow. So the farmers can rejoice, the shop owners can make more money and the rest of us can now breath.
