11. Electrocuted

Ok, so no one warned me that one of the dangers of living in Kabul, besides dodging gun shots, suicide bombs and IED's, is DEATH BY ELECTROCUTION! I went to turn on the tap to take a shower and the faucet didn't feel right. I touched the water and a massive electric current ran through me. For those of you that are laughing right now, IT WASN'T FUNNY! Apparently, the water heater plug had short circuited and was running electric currents to everything in the bathroom. Anyhow, I survived. I have no hot water until they fix the problem but I think I just lost 2 more lbs with this unfortunate incident.
